NOTHING COMPARES!

I am currently in my junior year, yet experienced so much, yet tried to be happy, sad, and lots of emotions. Duh! Sometimes, I am bit crazy with the people around me. One group Ive met in my college years,

Charan!

Kahit saan maisipan mag papicture, HALA SIGE! At least WE KNOW THAT WE ARE ONE <3

No matter how hard the situations we face, we dont leave each other. We make it sure that no one will be alone.

Kahit saan makarating,

MAPA-BAGUIO MAN!

MAPA-MANILA PA TO!

O'  JAEN

O KAHIT SA CLSU LANG,

Hindi mawawa ang KAINAN, (well, ako pa!)

Sa lahat ng bagay, may mga tao talaga na tutulong sayo, hindi sa assignments, quiz, exams(were not like that actually), the moments, memories, laughters, efforts, patience with each other, is enough to explain OUR FRIENDSHIP :)

(Acquaintance mode)

(Movie Marathon)

(Pati sa parade, hala kayo!)

(Kahit sa tamabayan lang, masaya na.)

Pati sa bible study, pati sa pagiging Christians, magkakasama kami, we believe God loves us, and Jesus Christ will save us. He has the power to guide us, gives us strength and all.

SABAY SABAY KAMING NANGARAP, SABAY SABAY DIN NAMAN ITO AABUTIN! :)

‘Memorable Experience’

‘Memorable Experience’
Jennica Roz Fronda
BSED3-4

I am Jennica, third year student, but experienced rush projects, rush requirements and the like. Despite of being lazy sometimes, I have experience challenging tasks. One of these challenging tasks is to be in front of many people, or facing a class. It is not easy to stand in front of many people, and you need to make it sure that those people will need to learn from you. Although at the end of the day, they will say something about you positively or vice versa. Having a subject who will teach us, not to teach but also to live with the students is really gift for us, because it helps us to face and solve all the coming trials and challenges we will encounter soon, when we are already in the teaching profession.
At first, knowing that Ma’am Caroline Muncal is our teacher for the subject Remedial Instruction really makes us excited and joyful, because she was our teacher during our first year, on English 105.
Actually, were expecting Ma’am Muncal to be our teacher during our second year for our one major subject but surprisingly, she is on leave during that time.
We cant hide the smile on our face that she is our teacher, because we already experienced how she taught us so many things that until now, is very useful and interesting, something that we can share to everyone, especially when we had our vowels, consonant sounds, stress and the like, knowing the real pronunciation of bamboo really makes me laugh at first but learned afterwards. There are really times we really find it hard to understand but were trying our best on it. Therefore, when we already have Ma’am Muncal in another subject, were so happy then.
On this subject, we are expected to teach, of course, but not just in front of our classmates but also in front of real students. Nervousness was the first reaction/feeling that I had when she told us that we would have the remedial class on ASTS. As our Dean says, it is just normal to feel nervous, but do not let that nervous ruin your teaching performance. Then, I already accept the fact that we really need to face our chosen profession, because it is our life, it is our choice. Then, excitement came next when we are already ask to make a letter address to the principal that we will have to conduct a remedial class for their students as a requirement for our subject. The principal already approved the letter, so we already made a test specifically for speaking, listening, reading comprehension and writing so that we can know whom the students who need remediation are. We are divided into four groups according to what is most preferred skill. Therefore, I was assign/designate to speaking, so we made test how can we measure the speaking ability of the students, so we made a questionnaire, at the same time, we had the interview for them to really measure how good can they speak and use the language.
There are students that are also good in speaking, but there really more who find it’s hard to use the language, they lack on confidence in using the language. Its seems like that they really need to learn more to use the language in a very confident way they can. We conducted the test at already 6:30 pm and everybody was now worried if we really need to go home that late, but some didn’t worry because we are almost 10 in administering the test, and we have boys in our class. Unfortunately, we didn’t pursue on the ASTS because we are risking our life going home late at night, the fact, the place was really dark when you walk all over through it, and also not all the time we are all there when we teach, so what if we are all girls and no one is a gentleman, so we cannot say what can really happen in a place that is dark. Ma’am Muncal and the class decided not to continue with ASTS because of our safety, because it is also a matter of life and death.
Disappointment was my feeling when it was cancelled because we already prepared for it, we already spend effort for it, and it’s our privilege that we are teaching real high school students. On the other hand, I have appreciated the concern of Ma’am Muncal because it is also her responsibility when something happens in us; also, she shows that she really cares. Therefore, although it is hard to leave the ASTS, we have already decided to handle another class. She has given us an option to handle her class, CED 14, for some reasons. Then, the tutorial (class) starts, headache starts to bloom, because of some more effort, more patience I need to exert for my clients. However, I ended up being satisfied because of the feeling the happiness whenever they see me, they just “Hello po” and asking for another classes, but days passed, they started to became lazy for not attending the sessions we set. Still, patience was there, it is necessary. Another class was given to us, when Ma’am Muncal asks to handle one of her classes, Noreen and I handled the CBAA class. The class seems very responsive and cooperative when we handle them and whenever I see them, even they are busy, and they just say, Hi’ Ma’am. It is very satisfactory in our part, because they learn and enjoy from us. It is a nice feeling when someone learns from you, and even we just handle him or her once, they still recognize you. It is really being a teacher, when a teacher handles one section, and for another section again, but when they have to see you, they still Hi, or approach you.
The subject overall, is truly amazing, and helps all of us in every way. It helps us to be good teacher and an effective teacher in the near future. It motivates us to be a good one. I know through this, I can faced all the challenges in a being a teacher. This third year of mine, was really hard, a lot of hard subjects, full of requirements, but also learned new ideas, experience new things to be a better teacher/individual. This was also a very blessed year, for I encountered a lots of requirements and patience for my subjects, but still God still give guides me and gives me strength. This subject was helpful, not just, because it gives us ideas how to be in the profession, but it also gives experience in this chosen profession. Though it is not easy, still I made it! It is one of a kind experience, memorable experience.

Hardships shows happiness. College life, it is! =)

There are times we think we already lose time for ourselves, for our friends. BUT!

WE, treasure our lives living together with God. We never waste time. No dull moments. We just love, love, love and love each other.Friends to be treasure. :) always there for you :)

I want a guy who would move my hair away from my EYES and then kiss me. HOLD MY HAND in line at the mall and make all the girls jealous. Someone who would SING to me at random moments. Who would let me sleep on their chest. A BOY who would get mad at someone if they called me ugly or was MEAN to me. I want someone who would call me THREE times a day if he went away. Someone who would let me gossip to him and would just smile and agree with everything I said. He would throw STUFFED ANIMALS at me when I acted dumb and then KISS ME A MILLION TIMES.

Someone who would make fun of me just to make me LAUGH. He would take me to the park and put his HAND around my waist and give me big bear hugs all the time. He would tell all his friends about me and SMILE when he did it. And we’d MAKE OUT in the POURING RAIN. He would never be afraid to say “I LOVE YOU” in front of his friends, and we’d argue about silly things and then make up. I want a boy who would kiss me at midnight on NEW YEARS and count stars with me. Who would stay home with me on a Friday night just to make dinner & WATCH MOVIES TOGETHER under the same BLANKET. Someone who would tell me I’m BEAUTIFUL but not too often. Who would make me laugh like NO ONE else could. But mostly, I want someone who would be my BEST FRIEND and would NEVER BREAK MY HEART.

Im praying for love, im not waiting for it.

It is really love?

We are all looking for love, even the oldest person in the world. We look for a special someone who will turn into a loving spouse. We look for love and trust from our parents. We look for love from our administration, hoping that those who are in the highest position will be compassionate with all of us. But weirdly, we often get into our worst answers and definition of love, when we all do is to search for this word- Love.

A successful marriage in the first maybe split up due to third parties wherein the other one doesn’t see contentment in his/her partner, and he/she still look for love. A typical boy may break his body by joining a fraternity/ sorority because he found love there. There are desperate for love, trying to ruin their mind and ease the pain by taking prohibited drugs.

Have someone already find true love? Have someone really found what is the definition of love? Where? How does it feel to be loved? Is it easy to find love?

As I see couples around, one question that keeps bragging my mind, “Do they really know what love means?”

In a family, is it enough to say “I love you” and give them whatever they want to your child just to prove them that you really love them. In friendship, is it enough that you were together all of time just to show love? For those people who still search for love even they are already married and gave promises with each other, is it really worthy to throw away all of the moments you’ve been together just because you found love to someone else?

Life is full of love, as they say, but how about those who are lonely, who doesn’t have anyone in their lives, does it mean that they won’t be loved by anyone and they won’t experienced to love and to be loved?

Do we really need someone to spend our life with just to be happy? Everyone was looking for it, and longing for it.

For some love is money, fame, success or whatever they want it to be. They just get material things;they just found satisfaction and lust but not love.  We give love but we may forget ourselves. How can we grow up if we give love and left nothing for ourselves? How can we think normally, if what’s in our mind is the word love? How can we sleep early and be worry-free if we have something to ponder on and that’s love.

Everyone’s dilemma is looking for love but no one had finally stand and shout that HEY! EVERYBODY it is love; it’s the feeling of being in love, because at the end of the day, there are still people who are in pain, who are crying, who are still in trouble, who are still confused because they still not sure if that love is true and can make them happy. No one still find love, no one will find it in the easiest way.

If we find and search for love, we may lose our mind just thinking about it, we may give up and surrender that love is still uncertain. Love is indescribable, it’s something that is unexplainable yet one you have it, you’ll lose yourself.

Try not to look, search and long for it, just try to close your eyes, open your heart and sleep, and let love filled your love. All of us can go on with love, but try not to capture it, preserve it. Waiting is perseverance, but wait without expectation and with acceptance.

If you fear the Lord, you have nothing else to fear.
If don't, you have everything else to fear.
